As of September 24, 2025, construction started in December 2024. Contact information for the awarded general contractor, Renesco, Inc, has not been disclosed. The original solicitation is preserved below for reference. The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) invites you to submit input and comments for the following work: CHINATOWN ROSE PAK STATION WATER LEAK MITIGATION PROJECT The purpose of this project is to mitigate the water leaks to stop the ingress of water into the Chinatown Rose Pak Station facility where significant water intrusion has been observed. Remedial measures have reduced the water intrusion in the Crossover cavern grouted areas, but the water has migrated to other areas where new water leaks have appeared. The migration of the water has caused leaks to develop in the platform cavern section. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is for San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) to determine the interest of well qualified contractors in performing this leak mitigation work.
