Site work for a civil project in Aurora, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Reference Number 0000355912 The new First Creek Interceptor (FCI) system, begins at Aurora's Prologis Lift Station and terminates at the MWRD owned regional Second Creek interceptor. The FCI system will provide a gravity solution for wastewater to reach the Norther Treatment Plan thereby eliminating the need for Aurora's Prologis Lift Station, First Creek Lift Station, Second Creek Lift Station, and High Point Lift Station reducing long term maintenance and energy costs for the utility. The purpose of this project FCI Gravity System Tie-In is to construct the final tie-in at the three lift stations that will become obsolete. These are the Prologis Lift Station located near E Smith Rd and E-470, 1st Creek Lift Station located near E 48th Ave and N Picadilly Rd, and Second Creek Lift Station located near E 68th Ave and Denali St. This project includes construction dewatering, installing pipelines and their appurtenances at each of the respective sites, and site restoration. Failure to complete the work as prescribed shall be considered as a Breach of Contract and subject to Liquidated Damages which are $1,800.00 per day. The Contract Documents require that all work be Substantially Complete by November 30, 2024 with Final Completion by December 31, 2024. The estimated cost for this project is from $2,517,500.00 to $2,915,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The City shall have the right to reject any and all Bids.
