The City of Fort Saskatchewan is seeking a qualified contractor to complete landscape work in Fort Centre Park. This project consists primarily of the supply and installation of landscape features including topsoil and seed, plant material, site furnishings and structural features such as a picnic shelters and a prefabricated pedestrian bridge. The work to be undertaken generally consists of approximately: Installation of 1,800m of gravel trails (3.0m and 2.0m wide), Installation of two earth embedded staircases, Installation of 65 trees, 970 whips and 368 shrubs, Installation of site amenities (picnic tables, cook grills, benches, waste receptacles) including concrete pads for amenities, Installation of concrete play elements, Installation of 3 picnic shelters and wood storage building, Installation of outdoor classroom, Grading, topsoil placement and seeding, Supply and install boardwalk structure, Landscape maintenance throughout two-year warranty period, Other tasks necessary to complete the above, Work excluded from the contract includes: Grading for stormwater ponds.
