The Ohio State University Airport/Don Scott Field (KOSU) is home to 150 aircraft and sees an estimated 90,000 flight operations per year. This is the primary facility serving The Ohio State University and the surrounding central Ohio community. KOSU has been identified as a "National Priority" general aviation airport by the FAA, is a Part 139 Certificated Airport, and serves as a general aviation reliever for John Glenn International Airport. The Ohio State University is soliciting Statements of Qualifications for Airport Professional Services for Architectural / Engineering Services for airport development projects for Don Scott Field. The selected firm must have experience with FAA standards and Guidelines, City of Columbus requirements (if applicable), and The Ohio State University Building Design Standards. The University intends to enter into a three (3) year Professional Services contract with a potential for two (2) extensions of one (1) year each. Scope of services may include those of an immediate nature such as remedial design of a heavily damaged structure and / or infrastructure to determine imminent damage or danger to life safety, threat to health or improved property up to a maximum of seventy (70) hours as defined in Title 2 of the FAA regulations.
