Site work for a water / sewer project in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project will replace a sewer main as noted on the drawings. Bidders must request documents from Catherine Knisley @ City of Winston-Salem Contractors must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes - at time of bid opening - to perform the work described herein as the general/prime contractor. For technical questions regarding this project, please submit questions in writing to Alan Temple at alant@cityofws.org for response to all by addendum. End of Question Period is 5:00 PM, March 21, 2024. Compliance with the City's Minority and Women Business Enterprise program is required on this project. Please refer to the Special Instructions to Bidders contained in the Project Manual for the City's M/WBE program requirements. The M/WBE goals are 5% MBE and 3% WBE as approved by the Commission. The purpose of this conference is to summarize the scope of work involved and to explain the City's Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) program required goals and outreach to HUB-certified M/WBE firms as applicable to this project. A record of attendees will be made.
