The scope of work is generally described as on-call landscaping maintenance services at locations throughout the County. Tasks required for individual on-call projects vary and may include, but are not limited to: Typical landscaping maintenance services, tree work including pruning and removal; hard surface maintenance including walkways, open areas, pavers and borders; clean-up, debris removal, irrigation system repair, drain field maintenance, and other landscape and grounds related tasks; weed and brush control including mowing, removal; fire fuel abatement and emergency debris removal related to storm damage. Work shall be performed under controlled conditions in accordance with applicable codes and best practices. Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining permits as required. Effective date of new AGREEMENT July 1, 2024 The term of the AGREEMENT(s) will be for a period of three (3) years with the option to extend the AGREEMENT for two (2) additional one (1) year periods, for a total not to exceed a maximum five (5) years except that the AGREEMENT shall continue to cover the term of on-call services until the services in relation to previous on-call requests have been completed. Accordingly, all Delivery Orders for on-call services must be issued but need not necessarily be completed within five (5) years of the start date of the AGREEMENT to allow for completion.
