WORK EXPERIENCE: Bidders must provide documentation of experience in the past five (5) years for well construction services similar in nature to this project. Experience shall be in the State of California. Documentation of experience shall be provided on the Contractor Experience Form. PRE-BID SITE VISIT: There will not be a pre-bid site visit. The locations of the proposed monitoring wells can be found in the Figures of the two Technical Specifications. Bid Bond 10 % Payment Bond 100 % Performance Bond 100 % The Agency is seeking bids from qualified persons or organizations to provide well construction services for locating, drilling, and constructing monitoring wells in the Langley Area, Eastside Aquifer, Forebay Aquifer, Upper Valley Aquifer, and Monterey Subbasins. There are two sets of Technical Specifications for work to be included in the bid: One set of Technical Specifications for the Langley Area, Eastside Aquifer, Forebay Aquifer, Upper Valley Aquifer and one set of Technical Specifications for the Monterey Subbasin. The work is funded by two different grants. While there will be one bid including both sets of monitoring wells, the work will need to be tracked and invoiced separately (Langley Area, Eastside, Forebay and Upper Valley tracked and invoiced together, Monterey tracked and invoiced together). Location maps for the proposed wells are included in Figure 1s of each set of Technical Specifications. The fourteen monitoring wells are proposed to be located in Monterey County rights-of-way. Please note that negotiations are underway to acquire the right to drill and maintain the proposed wells, and the Agency reserves the right to propose alternate locations if necessary.
