Debris Hauling Services III. SCOPE OF WORK: A. The contractor shall furnish all necessary supervision, labor, tools, and equipment to haul debris from Water Division property and work sites. The work shall include, but is not limited to: a. Hauling debris from the Water Division Pipeyard Facility at 4600 McRee Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110 b. Hauling Debris from Water Division worksites located at various locations throughout the City of St. Louis and the St. Louis metropolitan area. B. The contract awardee should have at least 6 tandem dump trucks available to respond simultaneously, with sufficient staff and drivers. Drivers and vehicles must be available 24/7/365. Upon receipt of a work request the contractor must notify the City of an estimated time of arrival and must respond no later than 2 hours after the call. C. The contractor shall be responsible for following all applicable laws and regulations regarding the disposal of the material. This includes vehicle safety inspections. D. The contractor shall be responsible for all fees and costs associated with the debris hauling and disposal. Summary The City of St. Louis Water Division is issuing an RFP to select a professional debris hauling company with a minimum of 6 fully staffed tandem dump trucks. The City of St. Louis ("City") invites Proposals from qualified respondents to provide debris hauling services. Following the Information for Respondents are the Proposal Documents and additional forms and attachments all respondents are required to complete and submit as a part of their Proposal. The City's objective in this Solicitation is to secure a service contractor who will provide first class, high quality, responsive, cost-effective service, and is also responsive to the City's goals for minority and women owned business enterprise participation. AWARD. A Contract will be awarded to the respondent who has, in the sole judgment of the City, submitted the lowest and best proposal and who has responded to all conditions set forth herein and has submitted a complete and correct Proposal Submission.
