Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in West Sayville, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a 6,135-square-foot golf course; for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a 1-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and playground / park / athletic field.
As of June 12, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. The work consists of the following: New Building addition consisting of site demolition, site reconstruction and existing building alteration - new construction for a single-story masonry and wood frame parks facility. Contract No.2 - Plumbing Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Base Bid, made payable to the Suffolk County Comptroller. This bid bond will be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted and contract awarded to the Bidder, the contract will be duly executed and properly secured.
