Foothills Regional Services Commission ("FRSC") is inviting proposals from qualified consultants to provide engineering support necessary for the development of a Fibre connection to the Foothills Regional Landfill. This RFP is not a tender and is not subject to the laws of competitive bidding. No bid contract or agreement is created by the submission of a proposal. FRSC would like to establish a Fibre network connection to the Foothills Regional Landfill (Landfill) located at 434137 Highway 783. The existing Fibre infrastructure consists of a buried Fibre line between Foothills County office north along Highway 2A to the Aldersyde area. Figure 1 shows the existing Fibre line and the proposed alignment to service the Landfill which will be approximately 7500 meters in length. The County in the future may also decide to service various residential and other parcels in the vicinity of the Landfill.
