Foothills County (FC) wishes to establish a standing supply of engineering and other support services to assist the County is its future projects. A general list of FC project needs from selected engineering firms and other consultants is provided below. Services will be provided on an as needed basis at the request of FC. FC may request the provision of other services and in respect of other projects from selected engineering firms from time to time in its sole discretion. FC anticipates that it may in the future, require engineering services but not limited to the following areas: Survey (includes legal survey) Drafting Regulatory support and monitoring Public consultation Infrastructure Assessments and Asset Management Support Conceptual, Functional Planning and Feasibility studies Conceptual, Preliminary and Detailed design, Procurement, Construction Administration, Construction monitoring and Project close out and reporting. Cost estimation Project Management Water resources Technical reviews and support Flood modelling and mitigation support Geotechnical Land Acquisition and Appraisals FC anticipates that the types of projects for which it may, in the future, require engineering services, include the following: Road Construction Water and Wastewater Infrastructure and Facilities Various Underground Utility Replacements including water, sanitary and storm Flood Mitigation Projects and Studies Various Building Structures and Renovations including Architectural services Recreation and Parks Projects Environmental Projects including existing and closed landfills/disposal areas Development Construction Inspection Services Other Miscellaneous Projects The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
