Site work for a civil project in High River, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed scope of work is detailed in the drawings included in the RFP. In general, the following is to be completed: Removal of the existing temporary thrust block and HDPE from valve near main lift station to a location downstream of the air-release manhole; Installation of the pre-fabricated steel section to the valve near the main lift station Installation of 700mm HDPE forcemain from steel connection to a location downstream of the air release manhole, including thrust blocks and restraint anchor(s) Relocation of the existing air release valve and appurtenances Replacement of the air release manhole at a new location Hot-tap of 700mm PE forcemain including all valves, risers and fittings to allow for bypass of lift station during replacement; Design and operation of temporary by-pass during construction Design of ultimate forcemain alignment (determine required bends, fittings, etc.) Security fencing to isolate construction area from Senator Riley School Site survey Site backfill, re-instatement of gravel area adjacent the main lift station, and site clean-up
