The City of Watertown, New York, hereafter known as the City, is seeking sealed bids from qualified bidders for the restoration and refinishing of the City's historic fountain located in the center of Public Square per City Specifications. Work on the project will commence upon award. A schedule for completion must be submitted with the bid. with completion of the project within 365 days from Notification to Proceed. Bids will be received by the City of Watertown, Purchasing Department for the following, furnish complete to specifications: Public Square Fountain Restoration Project The award of this bid is subject to appropriation of funds necessary by the City of Watertown. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, deemed not to be in the best interest of the City, at the sole discretion of the City of Watertown. This project is funded by the New York State Department of State. The State has established a goal for MWME participation of 30% Minority and Women-Owned Businesses combined, with at least 15% MBE and 15% WBE.
