Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Cambridge, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Commissioners of Cambridge are soliciting sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the replacement of sidewalks per the Bid Schedule. The work will consist of removing existing sidewalks throughout the city, and replacing them per attached specifications, on a square foot basis. Locations to be determined by the Department of Public Services. Bidders shall visit the site before submitting a bid for this work and thoroughly familiarize themselves as to the accuracy and correctness of the same. The City of Cambridge reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive informalities or irregularities as it may deem best for its interest. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to the Department of Public Services, City of Cambridge, 1025 Washington Street, Cambridge, Maryland 21613, and to be given consideration must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids The successful bidder must agree to commence work on or before a date specified in a written Notice to Proceed from the Owner, and to fully complete the project within 90 calendar days
