SEALED BIDS for Providing Dorchester County Department of Public Works contract tar and chip road services for a two year period (2024-2026) on an as needed basis. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. The anticipated cost of the project is under $100,000.00. The Dorchester County Council hereby notifies all bidders that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement; bidders will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this notice and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive formalities, informalities and technicalities therein, and to take whatever bid they determine to be in the best interest of the County considering the lowest or best bid, quality of goods and work, time of delivery or completion, responsibility of bidders being considered, previous experience of bidders, or any other factors they deem appropriate.
