Per the Public Contracts Code Section 3400 Subdivision (c), the City Engineer has determined that the following materials shall be sole sourced and no "or equal" will be acceptable in order to maintain consistency with other products installed at other City facilities:Val-Matic Check Valves, Val-Matic Plug Valves and Fleet ZOOM Monitoring Equipment. Contractor's License: The successful bidder will be required to possess a current State of California Class A License at the time the Contract is awarded. Contractors and subcontractors must also be registered with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations per Labor Code Section 1771.1(a). Prevailing Wage: In accordance with the California Labor Code, the Contractor must pay not less than prevailing wage rates as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations for all work done under this contract.
