The intent and purpose of this Quick Quote is to establish a firm fixed price contract for bi-weekly ground maintenance service with one qualified individual or firm to provide services at 203 Red Horse Drive, VA Beach, VA 23451. Please submit Grand Total for Services Requested. Mowing -Mow all grass areas (approximately 601,667 square feet) outside the fence lines on the property surrounding the mapped buildings/parking areas in Attachment B. The grass shall be mowed at a 3" height with a mower adequate to maintain a uniform appearance over the entire area. Clippings to be collected and disposed of at the completion of each mowing. Note: Dirt mound on site does not need to be maintained. Weeding/Edging/Trimming - Edging/trimming along all appropriate areas on the grounds to include all walkways, curb lines, hard surfaces, fence lines and mowing obstacles. All beds outside the fenced area should be weeded. Parking lots and walkways - Weed removal in parking lots and medians as necessary Clean Up - The contractor shall remove from the site any accumulation of grass clippings from hard surfaces and mulched areas after mowing/trimming. o No dumping of any debris near drains. Fertilizer - The Contractor shall not use chemicals such as fertilizer or weed killer without prior authorization from Facility Manager and amounts of specific chemicals will need to be reported. Supplies and Equipment - All supplies and equipment necessary to accomplish the requested services are to be provided by Contractor. All invoices are required to provide the information listed in the DMA Mandatory Requirements for Valid Invoice Payment Submission. By my signature on this solicitation, I certify that this firm/individual and subcontractor is properly licensed for providing the goods/services specified. Furthermore, the contractor and subcontractors shall maintain the required license throughout the term of the contract. The contractor or their subcontractor shall immediately notify the contracting agency in writing in the event the license has been revoked.
