Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The work will consist of the Contractor supplying approximately 3,000 tons of Superpave Wearing Course (9.5mm), approximately 2,000 tons of Superpave Binder Course (19.0mm) and approximately 500 tons of Superpave Binder (25.0mm) Each Proposal shall be accompanied with a certified check or Bidder's Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, in favor of Hempfield Township. The Contractor is advised that the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage requirements do not apply to this contract as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry. Hempfield Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bids received. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening Notice is hereby given that the bituminous price index in accordance with PennDOT Form 408 is applicable and in effect for each of the Contracts. All questions must be answered and the data given must be clear and comprehensive. This statement must be notarized. If necessary, questions may be answered on separate attached sheets. The bidder may submit any additional information.
