1. General Requirements: Contractor shall provide all shop, labor, materials, equipment, debris/trash removal and supervision to pave and stripe the parking lot as defined below. All work outlined shall be in accordance with local codes and ordinances. All measurements are the responsibility of the bidder and must be obtained during the mandatory site visit. Temporary "Lighted" barriers must be placed around prepared areas prior to leaving site at end of day. Barriers shall be in place during the work day to the extent necessary to protect contractor personnel and to preclude traffic intrusion. In case of road closure, signage will be provided to direct traffic to 'alternate' alternate pattern. 2. Specifications: Inspect surface and repair as required for paving. The parking lot has damaged areas that require repair prior to paving. Excavate and remove unstable material from deteriorated areas, fill and compact. The grade at the rear of the parking lot is above asphalt level. Grade the area to ensure proper drainage of the lot after paving is completed. Remove and replace parking stops. Mill two inches from existing surface. Clean and prep entire parking area. Pave with SM9.5A VDOT approved asphalt and compact to finished thickness of two inches.. Stripe the lot with latex parking lot striping paint to ADA standards. Plan Holders List not maintained.
