Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Punta Gorda, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,400-square-foot, one-story above grade transportation facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
The project consists of providing delegated design, permitting and construction services to construct a new PEMB adjacent to the Punta Gorda Airports South Apron. The building size will need to be approximately 80 x 30 with a minimum 14 eve height and will need to include an open space for maintenance and storage as well as a break area room (must be air conditioned) and a restroom (must be air conditioned). The site plan design has been completed by others and is included as an attachment to this RFB. Note that all site-related work will need to be completed by the selected contractor. The complete examination and understanding of the bidding and contract documents, all addenda or other revisions, and site of the proposed work is necessary to properly submit a proposal. The Charlotte County Airport Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in or reject any or all bids and to award or refrain from awarding the contract for the work.
