The City of Punta Gorda will be receiving sealed submittal responses at the Procurement Office, 126 Harvey Street, 2nd Floor, Punta Gorda, FL 33950 from qualified bidders for: The City desires to award a contract for a contractor to furnish and delivery Marine Grade Ready Mix to the Citys Public Works Yard, 3130 Cooper Street, Punta Gorda, FL for the construction of seawall slabs. These slabs will be used for replacement of seawalls damaged in Hurricane Ian and future potential FEMA eligible events. Solicitation Package Protest deadline: February 7, 2024 at 4:00 PM ET This will place the Bidder on the notification list for any forthcoming addendum or other official communications. Failure to register as a prospective Bidder and/or accept receipt of each document may cause your Submittal Package to be rejected as non-responsive if you have submitted a Submittal Package without City issued forms and/or acknowledgment of issued addenda and/or meet the Solicitation Package requirements as provided by the City. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Florida Statute 286.26, the location of meetings related to this solicitation is accessible to persons with disabilities. Questions shall be submitted via email, fax or hard copy and shall be received by the question and clarification deadline stated above (or as may be amended by Addenda). All answers to questions submitted will be published and answered in a manner that all bidder will be able to view. WAIVER OF RIGHTS. Failure to post a question or request for clarification by the established date and time shall constitute a waiver of the Bidders rights to protest the Solicitation Package, inclusive of addenda. All questions shall be submitted in writing via email to the Procurement contact. The City will not address any questions/inquiries submitted on-line . This contract will be for fixed unit pricing for a one (1) year period. This contract and issued services/commodities will be in full accordance with Federal Uniform Guidance, 2 CFR 200.
