Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in West Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Bid proposals are to be received in a sealed 9"x12" or 10"x13' envelope. The program consists of approximately 3,900 square feet of intermittent removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk located throughout the City. The program also may include the installation of detectable warning panels, intermittent curb and gutter removal and replacement, PCC driveway pavement, landscape restoration, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the Plans. All quantities will be used in determining the lowest responsible bidder. Completion Date: Oct. 11, 2024 Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of5% of the bid. The bid bond shall be in the form of a bid bond (IDOT form 12230 or equal), certified check or cashier's check drawn on a responsible bank doing business in the United States and shall be made payable to the City ofWest Chicago. All bids not accompanied by a bid deposit will be rejected. The successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor-Mechanical Payment Bond, both in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount asa security for the faithful performance of this contract andas a security for the payment of all persons performing labor on the project under this contract and furnishing materials in connection with this Contract, respectively. The City of West Chicago requires all Contractors bidding on Public Works projects and all of their Subcontractors to be governed by the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Submission of waivers of lien and certified payroll shall be required.
