Questions are due by: March 22, 2024 The approximate 2,300 SF restored space shall be fit-out to serve the programmatic needs of the current operating authority (Prince William County Police). This fit-out will consist of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, masonry, slabs, fixtures, ceiling, installation of owner selected products, and all other interior finishes. This project will provide a finished space that can be appropriately occupied and used by the current operating authority of the Animal Shelter to adequately serve the needs of the citizens of Prince William County. Project Location: 14807 Bristow Road, Manassas, VA 20112. Bid Surety shall be in the form of a Bid Bond, Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certified Check, or Bank Draft payable to The Chief Procurement Officer, Prince William County, in an amount not less than 5% of the cost proposal of the base bid. The bid security must accompany each bid response in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Any forfeiture of the Bid Bond is limited to the face amount of the bond or the difference between the bid and the next low bid whichever is less. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment bonds and, in an amount, not less than 100% of the contract amount. Section 400.16 of the Prince William County Procurement Regulations, as amended, shall govern bid withdrawal. If a bid may be lawfully withdrawn under that section, written notice of withdrawal must be provided within two (2) business days after the date and time designated for bid opening. The Board of County Supervisors for the County of Prince William reserves the right to reject any or all bids in part or in its entirety and may waive any informalities and irregularities in bidding when deemed in the best interest of the County.
