The Purpose and Intent of this Request for Proposal ("RFP") is to solicit proposals from qualified Vendors ("Vendor") to conduct competitive negotiations to enter a contract with Manassas Park City Schools ("MPCS") to furnish all labor and materials to replace an aging Public Address (PA) System at Cougar Elementary School (CES) and Manassas Park High School ("MPHS") in accordance with the stated requirements of this RFP (collectively, the "Project"). MPCS is seeking a PA system that is compatible with our current network and telephony system in accordance with the statement of needs, terms, and conditions stated herein. State Registration: All contractors working on the Project must be appropriately registered with the State Board for Contractors as a Class A contractor. A. Business License: The City of Manassas Park requires all contractors who reside in the city or have a definite place of business located within the City to obtain a business license when engaging in business within the city. This license is issued by the Commissioner of Revenue and must be maintained for the life of the contract or project. B. Prior to the issuance of the notice to proceed for this Project, validation of all contractors' business license and contractor registration will be verified.
