The Town of Greenburgh ("The Town") is seeking proposals from Professional Public Safety Architects/Engineers with demonstrated experience in Municipal Facilities planning and design. The Town seeks to strategically address deficiencies in the existing Town Court Building & Police Department Headquarters ("TCB&PDH") with respect to: ADA compliance, safety/circulation, locker rooms, energy efficiency, asbestos abatement, etc. The TCB&PDH is a combined 30,600 sq. ft. facility existing at 188 Tarrytown Road, White Plains, NY 10607. The Town is seeking proposals for the preparation of a TCB&PDH Facilities Master Plan which will guide future implementation steps (design/construction budgeting, construction phasing, related municipal planning, etc.). Request for Proposal - Architect/Engineer Scope ofWork The selected Consultant will interface with the Town through the Department of Public Works (Commissioner) and Town of Greenburgh Police Department designee. Services requested will consist ofthe preparation of a Facilities Master Plan which will be used for the following: assist the Town with short and long-term budget planning. o identify immediate design/build projects (if deemed applicable by the Selected Consultant). o identify long-term design/build projects. o identify order ofmagnitude costs/bonding needs. o to be used as a guide for potential grants assistance. The Facilities Master Plan will include: the feasibility of addressing deficiencies in the short term through a series of incremental improvements, or if a recommended approach should be through mid and long-term phased improvements. o concept drawings ofthe locations and details of proposed building improvements. o analysis of existing parking accommodations and recommendations to maximize parking efficiency through updated design. o cost estimates for the short-term and/or mid-long term phased improvement approach recommended by the Consulting Architect. o narrative regarding the need for temporary relocations of applicable aspects ofthe current build operations during construction. o recommended time-line for implementation, inclusive of bonding considerations. o documentation ofnecessary approvals.
