Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hillsboro, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of May1, 2024 this project was awarded to Scotts Construction and the awarded amount is unit per mile. Single Chip $27,000/mile Double Chip 46,000/mile Single and Double Asphalt Chip Sealcoat by the mile, Road Gravel, 3" minus breaker run, Rip Rap, Screening, Shot Rock, and Sand. These are all to be priced by the yard. Contractor proof of insurance for road materials and sealcoat must be included. Chairman Franke may be contacted with any questions, at 608-545-0005. The final decision will be made at the April town board meeting. The Union Town Board reserves the right to accept or reject any of the bids or to award the contract to the bidder, who in the opinion of the town board, will be most advantageous for the Town of Union.
