Reference Number 0000345023 Purchase Type: One Time Only- Delivery Date:09/13/2024 The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, and equipment necessary and incidental to complete the following work: 1) Locate Water Distribution Valves, 2) Access the Valve, 3) Clean out or Pump Out the Valve Box or Vault, 4) Inspect the Condition of the Valve, 5) Exercise the Valve Using Enhanced Sounding Equipment to Assure a Good Shut, 6) Perform Data Documentation Via Digital Form Utilizing Clinton Township's Application Software. Bids shall be submitted on the forms provided by the Owner and shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to the Charter Township of Clinton for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid price. The accepted bidder shall be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond, in the amount of 100% of the contract price. The cost of the bonds will be paid by the accepted bidder. The Charter Township of Clinton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to award the agreement to other than the low proposal, to negotiate the terms and conditions of all and any part of the bids, to waive irregularities and/or formalities, and in general to make award in the manner as determined to be in the Township's best interest and its sole discretion.
