Construct three additional offices to match existing offices. The contract will be awarded to one (1) bidder. All materials referenced in the submission of your
bid must be furnished, new, included in your bid, and meet the approval of The McHenry County
Housing Authority. All warranty information must be provided to The McHenry County Housing
Authority upon successful completion of the project. The bidding contractor is responsible for
verifying all measurements listed in the bid specifications. All bids to include items/labor necessary
to complete the project to the satisfaction of The McHenry County Housing Authority. All
installations are to be to the manufacturer's specifications and Federal, State, and Local codes,
ordinances, and regulations. Permitting, site management, cleanup/disposal/removal of all building
debris from the work site is the responsibility of the bidding contractor in accordance with prevailing
codes.
Specifications:
o Provide permit drawings for all required permits.
o Provide Permits (electrical, Alarm system, and sprinkler)
o Cover and protect carpet from damage throughout construction.
o Frame new offices with 2"x4" wood studs
o Electric to move, add lights, motion sensors, and outlets to match existing
o Install sound-deadening insulation in new walls
o Install 1/2" drywall tape and sand smooth
o Prime and paint new drywall to match existing offices and any construction that
was damaged to areas to match.
o Move emergency signage as required.
o Install fire alarms as required.
o Move and add sprinkler heads as required.
o Install doors and trim to match existing
o Install Schlage Elon keyed differently with matching master key to the existing
master key lockset
o Stain doors and trim to match existing.
o Install vinyl baseboards to match existing ones.
o Install new ceiling tile to match existing
