Description: This project, located in Anne Arundel County, is for the maintenance and preservation of environmental assets including the SHA District 5 Office, Glen Burnie Maintenance Shop and Hanover Complex (District 5). Environmental Assets include but are not limited to landscape planting beds, individual trees, tree planting sites, turf areas, stream sites and wetlands within SHA facilities and right-of-ways, easements held by SHA, and areas under agreement with SHA. Number: N/A In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance, or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids. It is the goal of MDOT SHA that Disadvantaged and/or Minority Business Enterprises participate in all Federal Aid and State contracts, as applicable.
