Reference Number 0000265832 Environment and Climate Change requires household garbage and co-mingled recycling hauling and disposal services for various locations in and around the Duck Mountain Provincial Park, Manitoba. The Service Provider will also be responsible for supplying a total of 40 (21 garbage and 19 recycling) - 6 cubic foot front end bins with bear resistant lids on a monthly rental basis for the term of the agreement. The purpose of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is to solicit bids from qualified Bidders to provide the services as described in Appendix "A" attached and for Manitoba to enter into an Agreement with the Service Provider whose bid is judged to best serve the interests of Manitoba when evaluated in accordance with the stated evaluation criteria. The Agreement is anticipated to commence on June 5, 2024 and shall continue until June 4, 2027. The agreement shall be for a period of 3 years with the possibility of two, one year extensions. The submission of a Bid, the receipt of a Bid by Manitoba and the opening of a Bid, or any one of those, does not constitute acceptance, in any way whatsoever, of a Bid. A Bid is not and shall not be deemed in any way to be a unilateral contract. It is an offer by the Bidder to Manitoba to carry out the provisions set out in this RFQ.
