SUNY Buffalo Ellicott Complex Masonry Repairs with Asbestos and Hazardous Material Abatement Phase V. The Dormitory Authority, State of New York (DASNY) is soliciting the services of a masonry contractor to perform masonry restoration at the exterior of the Ellicott Complex, Evans Quad at the University at Buffalo. Masonry work includes, but is not limited to, column masonry repair, removal & replacement of damaged brick units, repointing and brick cleaning. This project has potential for hazardous material and asbestos abatement once the masonry is removed. Roof caulk will need to be abated before opening plaza columns. The work of the project is to bid as single trade prime construction contract in Buffalo, New York. All corresponding firms must demonstrate experience in the completion of similar projects. One Contract will be awarded for the work of this project. The bidder or its principals shall have a minimum of five (5) years experience in similar work and shall provide to the Owner on the Minimum Qualifications Form a list of five (5) contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity to this Project completed or substantially completed within the last ten (10) years. Projects with complex technical specification sections may require additional experience in terms of both time as well as number of similarly completed projects.
