Deconstruct the North and South sections of the Expo Deck structures. This work will be completed over multiple capital plans. The Program includes all necessary modifications and removals, as well as rerouting of the existing pedestrian and cyclist transportation network impacted by the deconstruction work. The Program does not include the East Section of the Expo Deck. TIMELINE: An engineering consultant company was chosen to provide design and construction contract administration services for the Expo Deck Deconstruction Program. The Consultant is expected to complete Detailed Design and Permitting by mid-2026, and oversee deconstruction in 2027-2032. Deconstruction may need to be completed in phases, due to potential budget constraints. Further update once the project is approved to bid for construction. *Cost estimate is unconfirmed at this time.
