Address bid submittal as follows: BID SUBMITTAL ENCLOSED FOR: HARBOR POINTE BOULEVARD ASPHALT PATHWAY REPAIRS Project No. TR-230200 Project Description: The work to be performed under these specifications consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials, equipment and traffic Control necessary for construction of the Harbour Pointe Asphalt Pathway Repairs. In general, this Contract provides for the spot repair of existing asphalt sidewalk of varying widths and lengths, along both sides of Harbour Point Boulevard from 47th Place W to Cyrus Way due to tree intrusion. Street trees of varying sizes will be removed, stumps to be ground in place, damaged asphalt sections removed, new HMA asphalt placed, planter and trail shoulder restoration, and new street trees will replace each of the removed trees. Specific work includes, but is not limited to, HMA pathway pavement repair, utility adjustments to grade, removal of trees, planting of trees, and traffic control. The estimated cost for this project is in a range of $1,040,000 to $1,275,000. The work described in these Contract Documents shall be physically completed within 45 Working Days. Pre-Bid Meeting: No pre-bid site inspection or meeting is scheduled. Please note the requirements of Section 1-02.4 of the WSDOT Standard Specifications. This Contract involves public work. Workers performing work in conjunction with the Contract shall receive a prevailing rate of wage pursuant to the Prevailing Wages on Public Works Act (Chapter 39.12 RCW). Bid Bond Required: Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of certified check, cashiers check, or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of such bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of Mukilteo.
