Several other infrastructure improvements will be constructed, including freeway management systems that use a fiber optic backbone, cameras, and dynamic message signs. As of February 19, 2026, this project is in the conceptual phase. Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed.
