**As of April 5,2024, the project was awarded to Lewis Inc., with an awarded amount of $221,795.71.** The major items of project work include: install concrete sidewalk including all dirt work and formwork, install handicap ramps including truncated domes, install driveway turnouts with curbs, thermoplastic crosswalk striping, grassing, sod, erosion control, and other work as shown in plans including all incidental labor and materials necessary for the completion of all work. Bidder must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" of the Owner and to fully complete the project within 40 working days thereafter. Bidder must also agree to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $ 100.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as hereinafter provided in the General Conditions. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, certified check of the bidder, or a bid bond prepared on the Bid Bond Form attached hereto, duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the Owner, in the amount of 5% of the bid to a maximum of $10,000.00. Such cash, checks, or bid bonds will be returned promptly after the Owner and the accepted bidder have executed the contract, or if no award has been made at any time thereafter, so long as he/she has not been notified of the acceptance of his/her bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
