The project consists of: Channel grading, channel modifications, and reinstallation of erosion control/embankment protection devices into the Arkansas River channel in D odge City. When bid bonds are required, each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, written by a surety company acceptable to the City, or certified cashier's check in the amount of five percent of the total bid, which shall be retained by the City until the contract for the Project has been awarded. The bid surety of the successful bidder will be returned when a satisfactory performance bond has been furnished. No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
