Site work and paving for a road / highway in Dodge City, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or a certified check drawn on an acceptable bank, or an acceptable Bidder's Bond, in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the total bid amount. All requests for interpretation shall be submitted to the Engineer by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18th, 2024. Answers will be placed on the web site by 11:00 a.m. the following Friday. The bidder to whom a contract is awarded will be required to furnish the following bonds: A. Performance Bond: A performance bond to the Owner, in an amount equal to one hundred (100) percent of the contract. B. Statutory Bond: A statutory bond to the State of Kansas in amount equal to one hundred (100) percent of the contract. Each proposal shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope or wrapping, addressed to the City Clerk, City of Dodg City, Kansas, identified on the outside with the name and number of the project, the bid opening date, and the time of bid opening and filed with the City Clerk. The purpose of this project is to complete a 2" mill and inlay on East Trail Street from 2nd Ave. to Kansas Feeds driveway. This work will be completed over the full width of the pavement section.
