Site work for a water / sewer project in Abbotsford, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The construction of two (2) municipal potable wells. Well construction shall include the reconstruction of two (2) existing test wells, including installation of a pitless unit for each well; two (2) submersible well pumps with drop pipe, motor and power conductor; two (2) pressure transducers and wire; two 6'x6' reinforced concrete pads around the pitless unit casing at the ground surface; and two (2) prefabricated protective well covers. The work also includes well televising, test pumping, water sampling and field and laboratory analysis, and well disinfection for both wells, and two (2) temporary construction signs. The anticipated substantial completion date is September 1, 2024, and final completion date is October 1, 2024. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. Bidder is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within 72 hours of bid opening to MSA Professional Services, Inc., Attn: Nora Rickman, 146 North Central Avenue, Suite 201, Marshfield, WI 54449. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the owner as liquidated damages. We encourage Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBEs), and Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs) to submit bid proposals. A municipality, in awarding prime contracts, and the primary engineer and primary contractor, in awarding subcontractors, are required to make a good faith effort to achieve a combined minimum goal of 15% participation for MBE/WBE utilization Goals for Women = 6.9 percent (this goal applies nationwide) Goals for minority participation = 0.6 (this goal applies county-wide) Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
