Renovation of a municipal facility in Columbia, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 15,350-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility.

The Work shall include the complete Up-fit of the 2nd & 3rd Floors located in the 1401 Main Street Building as indicated on the contract documents titled "1401 Main street 2nd Floor Renovations" and "1401 Main St 3rd Floor Renovations". Simultaneously with his delivery of the executed contract, the Contractor shall furnish a surety bond or bonds in an amount at least equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the amount of the contract price as security for the faithful performance of this contract and for payment of all persons performing labor on the project under this contract and furnishing materials in connection with this contract as specified in General Specifications included herein. The surety bond, must be issued by a surety company licensed in the State of South Carolina with an "A" minimum rating of performance as stated in the most current publication of Best Key Rating Guide, Property Liability. Each Bond shall be accompanied by a "Power of Attorney" authorizing the attorney-in-fact to bind the surety and certified to include the date of the Bond. Said surety shall be subject to approval by the Owner's attorney. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject the qualifications of any bonding company submitted by the Contractor.
