Deadline to submit Questions Mar 26th 2024, 12:00 PM EDT Location: Mary Alice Park 1820 Mary Alice Park Road Cumming, GA 30041 Work Hours: Contractor to perform consecutive 8-hour workdays, 6 days a week, Mon-Sat, until work is complete. Forsyth County normal work hours: (Ord. No 87, 1-11-2006) 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday Scope ofWork: o Forsyth County intends to complete the Resurfacing and Restriping of Mary Alice Park. o All Parking Lot areas and Ramp are included in the project. o Area to be Resurfaced is approximately 19,329 Square Yards. o Measurements are all approximated and are up to Contractor to confirm prior to submitting a Bid. o The Contractor will be required to submit a schedule that includes phasing the work. o The Park will remain open during this project. o Safety is number one and Forsyth County will require a safety narrative for this project to protect the public and the workers. o All work must be completed by Friday April 14, 2024. o Submittals are required prior to start of the project and must be approved by Forsyth County Project Manager. Resurfacing Requirements: Milling Prior to paving, mill pavement up to a depth of 4 inches. After milling is completed, saw cut edges of pavement to establish a clean joint to tie into. Repair area/s will be shaped symmetrically where possible. Asphalt millings and debris will be removed from job site
