Wednesday, March 27, 2024 Deadline for Written Questions from Bidders. Contractor agrees to furnish all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to: design and build an engineered "F" shaped patrol dock at Lake Perris State Recreation Area located in the County of Riverside. This project requires the successful bidder to design, build, and install a replacement all-weather dock that can be functional at various water elevations ranging from 28 vertical feet from high pool lake elevation. Previous pylons are at the location and may be used if the bidder's design incorporates them, but it is not required. If the pylons are unutilized, they will remain in the water. A concrete approach walk ramp exists and should be utilized in the design for access purposes. Construction Features: Docks must use materials that are all-weather with a life expectancy of twenty years or greater that require minimal ongoing maintenance. Structural tube steel frame design, hot dipped galvanized framed, ¾ HDPE/PEX water line terminating 15’ from the end of the dock with 2’ spigot riser, non-skid aluminum top deck, polyethylene tub floats filled with expanded polystyrene foam block, 12-14” dock cleats along both finger docks and main dock starting at 60’ extending 120’ along the perimeter every 6 feet. 2” x 8” HDPE or equivalent rub rail along the 60’ end of the main dock perimeter and both finger docks.
