Site work and new construction of a residential development in Jackson, Michigan. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 12,001,400-square-foot, two-story above grade residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

Reference Number 0000345415 The City of Jackson is seeking proposals for the development of affordable rental housing. Successful proposals will include all components as outlined in this RFP. Construction shall commence on or before October 1, 2024. All HOME-ARP projects must support one (or more) of the following qualified-populations: 1. Homeless (as defined in 24 CFR 91.5 Homeless (1), (2), or (3)) 2. At risk of homelessness (as defined in 24 CFR 91.5 At risk of homelessness) 3. Fleeing, or attempting to flee, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking (as defined by HUD) 4. Other Populations where providing supportive services or assistance under section 212(a) of NAHA (42 U.S.C. 12742(a)) would prevent the family's homelessness or would serve those with the greatest risk of housing instability. HUD defines these populations as individuals and households who do not qualify under any of the populations above but meet one of the following criteria: a. Other Families Requiring Services or Housing Assistance to Prevent Homelessness b. At Greatest Risk of Housing Instability Prospective applicants may make written inquiries by email to Cory Mays, Grant Coordinator: cmays@cityofjackson.org Home construction to consist of two story home construction from 1,200-1,400 sq. ft. in areas of the City with primarily 2 story home neighborhoods or minimum 1-story 960 sq. ft. home construction in areas of the city with primarily 1 story homes. 2 story homes to provide minimum 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 bathrooms. 1 story homes to provide minimum 2 bedrooms and 1 1/2 bathrooms. Plan sets must be provided to the City of Jackson Building Department for final review for any accepted proposal(s).
