Renovation of a detention facility in Jackson, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 30,000-square-foot detention facility.
Question Deadline 04/02/2024 at 2:00 PM ET ACCEPTING QUESTIONS UNTIL: Please do not submit online questions via SIGMA VSS. ALL questions should be emailed to Paul M. Majkowski at paul.majkowski@intertek.com no later than 2:00 p.m., Eastern on 4/2/2024 Please notify the Office of Design and Construction if you are having SIGMA VSS issues. Include your SIGMA ticket number in an email to our contract specialists, Anne Watros (WatrosA@michigan.gov) and Don Klein (KleinD4@michigan.gov ). You may be asked to email your proposal. Emailed submissions will require DCD approval and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. The Base Bid Work shall include the removal of the existing shingles and replacement with new standing seam metal roof systems on Housing Unit 16 and the Chapel (Bldg 53). This Base Bid work includes some enhancements to the wood truss framing on Unit 16 as well as the installation of new vented nailbase on the Chapel. [Note: Approximate total roof area for project is 30,000 square feet.]
