The Owner is soliciting proposals for qualified bidders to perform work on various portions of the project. Triangle Associates, Inc. is the Construction Manager for the Owner under an CMc Agreement. Contract Award 4/10/2024 2. Begin Construction 6/1/2024 3. Contract Completion 6/15/2025 1 Remove all spoils from this trade from the project on a weekly basis. CM will not provide dumpsters for debris from this trade. 2 Furnish and install all concrete on the Project including but not limited to footings (including stepped footings), foundation walls, and piers including ledges, interior flatwork, and site concrete including all forming materials, finishes, curing, sealing, jointing, and doweling as specified and detailed. 3 Receive and install embedded items supplied by others, including, but not limited to, masonry dovetails, angles, sleeves, box-outs, anchor bolts, chases, and frames. 4 This contractor is responsible for all lifting, pumping and delivery of forming materials, reinforcement, embedded items, and concrete to the work area. 5 Furnish and install all reinforcing steel, mesh and fibers as specified. This contractor is to be responsible for installing and maintaining rebar protection until exposed ends are covered by the following trade. 6 Furnish and install perimeter and/or underslab insulation on foundations. This contractor is responsible to hand dig, remove soil, and recompact at the locations of the underslab insulation to maintain the specified thickness of the slab throughout. 7 This contractor will provide one competent individual to work with Work Category 310 to verify all grades prior to commencing grading and placements by this trade. Commencement of work without verification to Triangle is constituted as acceptance of grades. 8 This contractor is responsible for dewatering open excavations for this scope of work. Coordinate all excavation schedules with WC 310. This work category will be responsible for dewatering at any excavations that have been installed per the agreed schedule. 9 Perform finish grading of subbase at all locations of concrete placement from within +/- .1', import and export materials as needed. 10 It is the responsibility of this Contractor to grind and/or repair any and all concrete, joints or cracks from improper placement, curing and/or curling to the satisfaction of Triangle, Design Professional, or Owner. 11 Furnish and install concrete casement for piping/conduits run below footings. 12 Furnish and install sealants as specified and shown at concrete to concrete locations and where concrete meets dissimilar materials. 13 Perform underpinning if shown or require, including all hand excavation. Drill and dowel as shown or specified. 14 Clean all concrete from all surrounding surfaces that are affected by pouring operations. 15 Provide all specified finishes. 16 Provide mockups as required by the construction documents, and remove from the site at the completion of the project. 17 Furnish and install all vapor and moisture barriers including but not limited to vapor barrier, waterproofing, and joint fillers and sealants at expansion joints. 18 Contractor will be responsible for hand grading, hand compaction, and slopes for drains. 19 Furnish and install premolded joint filler within or adjacent to concrete construction. 20 Furnish and install asphalt dampproofing on foundation walls. 21 Furnish and install edge protection prior to placement of subsequent slabs 22 Furnish and install expansion joints and materials. 23 Protect and cure concrete as shown and specified. 24 Furnish and install any exterior bollards (any exterior bollards are to be galvanized regardless of what is noted on the drawings or specfications). 25 Coordinate all final slab elevations with flooring finishes and WC 096. 26 Coordinate with the Construction Manager any required testing, in the frequencies described in the contract documents, well in advance of performing the work with Construction Manager. 27 This contractor is responsible for following the slab connection details and doweling at existing construction or adjacent pours and for any required minor excavation and compaction for thickened edges. 28 This contractor is responsible for all concrete control or isolation joints (including isolation joint materials), including any sawcutting specified. 29 This contractor is responsible for all concrete floor polishing on the project. Provide mandatory breakout pricing for all costs associated with concrete polishing on the Proposal form included with the bid documents. Take note that the deep grind shall occur at a separate (early) mobilization with the remaining polishing work to occur later on in the schedule. 30 This contractor is responsible for the flowable fill at detail 8/S3.1 (excavation by WC 310), this detail is to be figured at both sets of exterior doors on the project). 31 Pour interior concrete patch where existing terrazzo is removed by WC 061. Closely coordinate with WC 061 for demolition activities and limits. Pour concrete back at a height where, once polished, the height of the polished concrete and existing terrazzo are flush. Job.
