Request for Qualifications for Architectural Services Cleveland County Water is a Sanitary District located in Cleveland County, North Carolina. The District has obtained $415,000 in grant funding from the state of North Carolina to retrofit and refurbish the former bank building located at 100 West Main Street in Lawndale, North Carolina. The building is intended to be retrofitted for ancillary use of the Stagecoach Greenway. The District is seeking professional architectural services consistent with North Carolina General Statute 143-64.31 for the retrofit and redesign of the former bank building for the Stagecoach Greenway to include the following scope of work: Design, bidding and minimal construction oversight for the renovation of a 1,363 square foot commercial space for Lawndale's Stagecoach Greenway in addition to the required parking, site access/egress drives, on-site vehicle circulation and materials lay-down areas required as part of the project. Awards will be made to the responsible and most qualified firm whose qualifications are aligned with the District's project and strategic objectives. Evaluation and selection factors include: Familiarity with the project and surrounding area Experience with projects of similar size and nature as outlined with the current firm/team and grant-funded projects and reports.
