Questions may be directed to Superintendent, Bob Heddinger at 660-736-4161 or at hedbob@tarkio.k12.mo.us. All quotes are to be submitted on a per time mowed basis. Mowing includes the use of a weed eater around obstacles, buildings and ditches that are not accessible to the mowers. The district asks that no chemical sprays be used to kill grass along walkways, fences, or ditches. Weed eating during the school year needs to be completed on a weekly basis. Weed eating during the summer can be done twice monthly. Additional grass clippings need to be removed from walks/driveway. Additional grass clippings need to be removed from walks/driveway. All interested parties are required to discuss the process with the superintendent of schools prior to submitting a quote and are advised to view the site. The total dollar amount, references and individual/business location will be considered when determining which quote is accepted. Please see the attached map of the various areas. The Tarkio R-I Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes. An aerial view of the areas to mow can be obtained from the school. All bidders are encouraged to contact the school to fully understand the areas to be mowed. The district has approximately 26 acres of property to be maintained.
