General Notice Village of Cardington (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows: Question Deadline 03/22/2024 A. All questions shall be asked through Bid Express and will be answered in the same. B. OHM Advisors / Engineer of Record / Rhonda Morrison, PE Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than three days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Project includes the following Work: Reconstruction of Park Street between Main Street and New Street with approximately 5,225 SY of rubblizing and rolling existing asphalt pavement and replacing with new asphalt pavement, striping, and curb and sidewalk replacement. Owner anticipates that the Projects total bid price will be approximately $224,000. The Project has an expected duration of 25 working days, to be completed prior to December 31, 2024. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty Bond for the full amount (100%) of the Bid, in favor of the Owner or a certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the amount of 10% of the Bid, payable to the Owner.
