Site work for a conference / convention center in Hopkins, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a conference / convention center.
A. The project involves but is not limited to the complete construction of public improvements for the reconstruction of several streets. Individual elements of work shall include, but are not limited to 1. Removal of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveways, and other miscellaneous items. 2. Conduit Directional Boring. 3. Handhole and fiber installation. 4. Concrete walk construction. 5. Concrete curbing and driveway pavement construction. 6. Bituminous street construction. 7. Turf restoration and erosion control construction. 8. Traffic Control. 9. Other miscellaneous work shown on the plans or specified herein. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes the construction of approximately: together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. COMPLETION OF WORK: All work under the Contract must be substantially complete by 10/25/2024. BID SECURITY: A Proposal Bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Hopkins shall accompany each bid. OWNERS RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.
