Renovation of a day care center in Brownsville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,593-square-foot, one-story above grade day care center.

The Project consists of the construction and alterations of building and utilities elements as described in the drawings and project manual Modifications to the existing 3,000 square foot building located at 111 South Wilson Avenue, Brownsville, TN 38012. Scope of construction work includes 1. Enclosure of the gas furnace. 2. Relocate the existing fire alarm system panel box. 3. Upgrade occupancy separation walls between tenants. 4. Remove an interior wall. 5. Provide egress illumination at areas of exit discharge. 6. Correct outlets next to plumbing to be GFI rated. 7. Correct electrical panel labeling for circuits. Separate sealed bids for FY 2022 CDBG-CV - Johnna's Ark Childcare Center. Adjustments to Project Duration will be made for bona fide Supply Chain delays. The owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon.
