Site work and paving for a civil project in Los Banos, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.

Project is no longer needed.** The Project contemplated consists of a new precast prestressed concrete voided slab bridge across the Poso Canal and includes site work necessary for access on both sides of the Poso Canal. The span across the Poso Canal is approximately 50-feet. The Work will be completed in all respects on or before January 31, 2025. Return of the documents is not required, and amount paid for the documents is nonrefundable. The Owner will keep a planholders list. Any addenda or official notices will only be delivered to those on the planholders list. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form, including all attachments, and accompanied by Bid security as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. By submitting a Bid the Bidder represents that it has carefully examined and investigated the Work site and all Bidding documents. All submitted Bids shall verify if the Owner has issued any addenda for this Project. It is the Bidder's sole responsibility to ensure that all addenda requirements are included in the submitted Bid. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and insurance prescribed in the Bidding Documents. In order to Bid and perform public work, the Bidder and Subcontractors shall hold or obtain such licenses as required by State Statutes, and federal and local Laws and Regulations. Bidders and Subcontractors shall hold current public works contractor registration number by the Department of Industrial Relations at the of Bid. Bidders shall hold California Contractors' License, Class A at time of award. Failure to possess specified license at time of award shall render Bid nonresponsive. Bidder is required to provide with its Bid satisfactory proof of licensure to Owner. The work under these Bidding Documents is to be paid for by public funds; therefore, minimum prevailing wage rates published by the State Director of Industrial Relations are applicable. A copy of such prevailing wage rates is available online. The Project will be subject to a Department of Industrial Relations certified labor compliance program. Payment for the Work accomplished will be made monthly, but part of amount earned will be withheld to ensure performance under the Contract. Substitution of securities for monies withheld is permitted by Contract Documents as an option open to Successful Bidder. Attendance at a pre-bid conference will be a mandatory requirement of submitting a Bid for this Project. Refer to Instructions to Bidders Article 6 for additional information. A Bidder may withdraw a submitted Bid at any time prior to the time of bid opening only by written request to Owner. Unless otherwise required by law, no Bidder may withdraw its Bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening.
